Analyzing the commitment of business owners related to the tourism using European Performance Satisfaction Index (Case of tourism sample villages in Paveh Township)

Abstract:
Rural tourism as an especial form of tourism, if planned and organized correctly considering the characteristics, need and economic, social and cultural issues and also the desire of tourists would solve the economic problems in rural areas such as unemployment and poverty. The importance of tourism businesses is different among entrepreneurs, Many tourism businesses supply all of the rural family income or it is considered as a supplementary income for some of them. In this regards, the purpose of present study is to determine the affecting factors on the commitment of business owners related to tourism in tourism sample villages in Paveh Township using modified EPSI model. Therefore a survey conducted among the businesses owners in Paveh Township in Kermanshah province. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data was analyzed by SPSS V20 and AMOS V20 software. The results showed good fit. Also, the results of path analysis showed that businesses owners’ attitude is the most important influencing factor on businesses owners’ commitment.
