Islamic Lifestyle in Family from the Ayatollah Jawadi Amoli's Viewpoint

The present study aims at extracting the model of "Islamic Lifestyle in Family" and explaining it from the Ayatollah Jawadi Amoli's viewpoint. It has been conducted through descriptive-analytical method. The findings show that in Ayatollah's view: 1) marriage is the link of two souls and a celestial sacred affair; 2) the foundation of family is rational and humane friendship, not sexual desire; 3) formation of family is based on woman's affection and attraction on the one hand and man's management in sustenance and defense [of family] on the other hand; 4) Islamic family is based on two virtues: rational affection and generous tolerance; 5) in their procreation, the parents are channels of Almighty God's grace of creation; 6) upbringing children means "nurturing generosity" which is an unparalleled virtue; 7) relationship with blood relatives is an innate need and a mechanism for creating links between members of the small society of relatives, which prepares the ground for prosperity of larger societies.
