Identifying the Effective Factors and Prioritizing Sport Tourism Activities (case study: Chaharmahaland Bakhtiary Province)

Sport tourism, has become a socio-economic phenomenon beyond an industry around the world and many countries has considered it as an important resource to improve the economic, social and political conditions. The aim of this study is to identify and prioritize sport tourism activities in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. Having natural attractions like mountains, rivers, protected areas and so on, this province is suitable for sports and adventure tourism and it is approximately possible to spread any kind of sports activity. The results were obtained in two ways: documentary and field. The main tool for data collection, is a questionnaire which its validity by experts and its reliability has been confirmed by calculating the rate of inconsistent judgments. The population of the 40 sports and tourism experts are in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. To analyze the results of the questionnaire, the ANP method and Super Decision software has been used. The results show that the ranking of factors, residential facilities - facilities with x points and then security, have the greatest impact on the prioritization attractions.in prioritizing 6 major existing sports attractions, mountain sports with x points, the highest rank, and then were nature and land-based sports, water and summer sports.
