Abstract:
Objective
The aim of this study is to compare theory of mind in intellectual disability children and preschool and its relationship with social maturity.
Methods
This study is causal-comparative study population consisted of all intellectual disability children and preschoolers Gonabad is a sample of 32 children with intellectual disability who were selected through census sampling and sample pre-school children consist of 30 children will be selected by a random sampling. To analyze the data, t-test and Pearson's correlation coefficient was used.
Results
The results showed that preschool children than intellectual disability children in the first, third and theory of mind in terms of overall performance that was statistically significant (p> 0/001). But on the second level of theory of mind, the average preschool children with intellectual disability was not significant (p
Conclusion
The results of research conducted in the field of theory of mind has come to conflicting results, so the need for research in this area seems essential.
