A Comparative study of social and economic characteristics of accomodated and non- accomodated nomad(case study: Koohrang township)

Abstract:
Although the nomadic population than the urban and rural population is a nomadic Iranian society, as a socio-economic reality of the political and cultural history and an active member of the national community and Nomads’ role in providing protein and other dairy products is under attention.
The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare social and economic indexes of the two groups settled and nomadic settlements are not. Methods A questionnaire survey to collect data. Cronbach's alpha coefficients were calculated for the nomadic community questionnaire 0/819 respectively, which indicates the reliability and trustworthiness of devices measured in this study. The sample size was calculated by the method of Cochran (260 samples) and random stratified sampling method collected data using descriptive and inferential statistical methods including frequency, percent and U man-Whitney test for normality and analyzed by SPSS software environment. The findings reveal dramatic differences between two groups in terms of social indicators and economic indicators are almost similar to each financial reason.
