Introduction
Considering the prevalence of epilepsy and its great impact on patients’ lives, diverse diagnostic and therapeutic techniques have been developed. Long term monitoring (LTM), simultaneous recordings of seizure attack and electroencephalograms, facilitates achieving definite diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Conclusion
Therefore, understanding the foundations of this technique helps neurologists and other interested parties to apply it appropriately.
