Modeling and solving the hierarchical hub location problem considering several different vehicle and capacity for the hubs

The hierarchical hub location problem with different kind of vehicle aims to find the number of different needed hub and their location in several levels and also the vehicle and their path in order to minimize total cost of installing and transportations. In this paper, the hierarchical hub location problem considering capacity and verity of vehicles is studied. This condition leads the problem to real world and so the results can be useful for researchers and industrial managements. At first the problem is defined and then its parameters and variables are illustrated. After that a new mathematical model is developed for these new condition. This is a mixed integer problem and in order to be solved, the GAMS problem is used. Some standard problem that are illustrated in one of the references is used to evaluate and analysis the results.
