Comparing Executive function of Elderly Obese Women and Elderly Normal women According to the Pattern of Continuous Performance Test (Mississippi T), set shifting (WCST)

Abstract:
Obesity is a heterogeneous disorder that has many causes, though the fundamental basis of an imbalance consumed between energy intake and energy. Effect of Obesity appears on a wide range of interpersonal difficulties, mental health problems, suicide, academic performance, and mental disorders. The aim of this study was to compare the set shifting, and continuous performances in older women are obese and normal. According to Comparison of executive functions in two groups the method was causal-comparative study. Two samples of the trial, 100 obese and normal weight women who were selected by purposive sampling method. The instrument used in this study, the Wisconsin Card Software category, continuous software. After the sessions multivariate analysis of variance test showed that there is a significant difference among the obese women and normal aging, set shifting, continuous attention. This means that obese people are more impaired executive function and weaker working memory. Programs to prevent obesity and promote obesity prevention are the style that lives can be a protective factor against obesity related disorders
