Comparsion of Maternal Tension in Easy, Difficult, and Preterm labbors

Abstract:
Introduction
Delivery or childbirth is one of mother’s life experiences, sometimes associated with problems. The present study aimed to compare maternal tension in mothers who have had easy , difficult , and preterm labbors .
Methods
This study was conducted with a comparative cross-sectional descriptive method. The study population was all mothers, who had been referred to medical centers in Tabriz city during 2013. Accordingly , 180 mothers were selected with convenience sampling and completed parenting stress index. Cronbach's alpha reliability was 0/93. Data were analyzed using the SPSS software and one way ANOVAs analysis of Variance.
Results
Finding showed that there was a significant difference between three groups with easy, difficult, and preterm deliveries in parenting stress (F= 3/60, pCoclusions : Given the results of the present study as well as previous studies , it could be concluded that having preterm and difficult deliveries hase a negative effect on mother-child relationship and the experince of psychical labbor effect mother,s cognition.
