Prioritizing Urban Good governance Indicators from the Viewpoint of City Managers (Case Study; Bukan City)
Urban Good Governance based on participatory planning is today the dominant aspect of modern urban management in the world. The purpose of this study was to investigate, evaluate and prioritize urban governance elements, from the viewpoint of Bukan urban management activists in West Azarbaijan province. The research method in this paper was descriptive-analytical and based on documentary and survey surveys. The required research data was collected through a researcher-made questionnaire and a hierarchical analysis method was used to conduct the required analyzes and prioritize the indicators. This study draws on the principles of good governance provided by global organizations such as the United Nations Development Program, the World Bank and international theorists, participatory, accountability, transparency, rule of law, effectiveness-efficiency, and accountability. Have been analyzed. Finally, a prioritization of existing indicators and criteria was done using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results obtained from the analysis, evaluation and prioritization of the data show that the responsibility index in rank 1, participation in rank 2, effectiveness - efficiency in grade 3, accountability in rank 4, rule of law in grade 5 and Transparency is at 6th place.
