Family Impact on Adolescent Deviations in Kashan City

The present study aims to investigate the effect of family on adolescent deviations in Kashan. The main hypothesis in the Sociological Approach is that Human Beings are the product of Social Conditions and their Deviant ehavior must be analyzed in the Context of Social Life. Family is the first Institution that places People in a Personal and close relationship with others. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the effect of family on deviant behaviors of individuals in order to understand Deviation Factors in Society. Survey Method was used in this study and 301 of the 12-18 year old students in Kashan were surveyed. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant and direct relationship between Family Attachment and Commitment, Religious Orientation of the Family, Generation Gap and Patriarchy with Deviations of Adolescents. There was no relationship between the Socio-Economic Status and the Relationship between Parents and Children with Adolescent Deviations. Regression Analysis also shows that the most important variables affecting Adolescent Deviations are: Family Attachment and Commitment, Family Religious Orientation and Generation Gap. Also, Patriarchal variable indirectly affects Adolescent Deviations by influencing Family Attachment and Commitment and Religious Orientation variables.
