Evaluation of Diagnosis Quality of Employed Microscopist's in the Diagnostic Laboratory of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Isfahan Province in 2015

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium species and its control is vital in the diagnosis and treatment. People existence with professional experience in this field is very important, so in order to importance of start timely and correct diagnosis and treatment and stops the spread of tuberculosis, the authors was decided to recognize the quality of environmental microscopists working in Mycobacterium detecting laboratories in Isfahan province in year 1394.
This is a descriptive study, which is analyzed by performing a practical test in the 27 individuals in 20 Environmental Laboratory diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis in Isfahan Province. 5 Direct smear of sputum with a related list were collected from each laboratory. After collecting, the obtained data were analyzed.
Findings: There was no significant relationship between quality of diagnosis with age, sex and employment status, specific used of each microscope, microscopic life, and other items like experience and time that microscopists spend in detecting tuberculosis have been effect on the quality of their diagnosis. In almost 75% of the participants scored high on the test result.
Because direct smear is still one of the most accessible and fastest on detecting TB Find TB diagnosis and microscopists on TB section are responsible, it was found that the quality of these people diagnosis should be evaluated at least annually by the Provincial TB Reference Laboratory.
