The effect of life skills training on citizenship education and social adjustment of students

Abstract:
This study examines the impact of life skills training on citizenship education and social adjustment of female students Sixth grade elementary. This research was a quasi-experimental study. The population was all sixth grade girls from of the Feyzabad city from Khorasan Razavi province, in the 94-93 school year.
Using a stratified random sample of 50 students selected from among those in the control and experimental groups (N = 25) were assigned. Data were collected using a questionnaire citizenship education fathi vajargah(1385) and social adjustment clark et al(1953) has been made. Content validity was used to assess the validity of questionnaire citizenship education. construct validity of questionnaire social adjustment Through internal consistency was confirmed.In this study, Cronbach's alpha reliability citizenship education using 0/79, respectively. Reliability questionnaire social adjustment, using the Kuder-Richardson formula were estimated 0/81. Analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data.
The results showed that Life skills training on citizenship education and social adjustment of students affected.
