Socio-cultural determinants of responsible environmental behavior among citizens of Yazd

Sociologists try to identify the factors affecting the relationship between human and environment in order to enhance responsible bahaviour of human beings towards their surrounding environment. The results of this analysis are based on a survey which includes 384 citizens of Yazd. The results indicate that the responsible bahaviour of people towards environment is significantly affected by such determinants as age, gender, life style, social networks, legalism and cultural capital.
