Supportive Functions of the Islamic Balance Family Based on the Grounded Theory (A Qualitative Research)

Considering the importance of the family and the important role that family members support in their family health and, consequently, community health, the aim this present study was to determine the supporting functions of the Islamic balance family based on the grounded theory. This research was carried out in a qualitative way and using a grounded theory the family specialist and more than 200 religious sources including the holy Quran and the well-known and famous hadis of Shia and Sunni hadis were examined by purposeful sampling and data were collected using structured and interactive interviews to achieve saturation of information. MAXQDA software was used to analyze the data. The categories related to the supporting functions of the Islamic balance family were extracted and coded in three stages. The extracted categories on the following supporting functions were extracted from two categories of spiritual support and emotional support. The sub code of moral support in the field of relationships among family members, the duties of children, the duties of the parents, and the duties of the husband and wife; the sub code emotional support are grouped in the relations between husband and wife, parents and children, family members relationships, family relationships with relatives, and family relationships with neighbors.
