Abstract:
Harkat Poetry is a poetical current of the past two decades in Iran. Abolfazl Pasha introduced this movement with the publication of an essay, "Movement and Poetry" (Harkat va Sher), in the first half of 1370s, and years later he published of a book with the same title. This current as a subdivision of the poetry of the seventies has two features beside the general features of the seventies. These features are: lack of independent meaning of each stanzas and transformation that distinguish Harkat poetry from other literary currents. Transformation is one of internal features of Harkat poetry without which the poem is not considered to belong to the movement. Having studied samples of Harkat poems I have classified many patterns of transformation such as cluster transformation, break and link, ladder parallel, and combination. Hinging (Lolagozari) which has played an important role in the creation of transformation is also explained.
