Emergence of the positivistic critique in the article

An essay entitled “From Library and Library Science to Introduction Information Science and Knowledge Studies “ has been published in Journal Book Review in Information Communication fields, Number 11 (Autumn 1395), by Dr. Morteza Kokabi, Retired Professor of University Shahid Chamran. The essay aims at criticizing Ahmad Shabani and Zohreh Mirhosseini’s book “Introduction to Information Science and Knowledge Studies” in two aspects of content and form. The present article tries to analyze the position of the book for students in this field, and also briefly explain the change in historical attitudes, ways of presenting the materials, use of new sources and the disputed aspects of the writers and critic.
