Recognition of Familial Lived Experiences and It's Influences on Drug Use: Case Study of Drug Addicted Students of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman

Abstract:
This study investigated the family lived experiences of drug use among students by using grounded theory methodology. Fifteen addicted students of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman were participated at this study as participant. Data collected via in-dept interview during eighteen month. The participants were selected via two purposive sampling strategies i, e, maximum variation and snowball. Analyzing the data yielded four categories: interfamily conflicts and disagreements; low control and broken dam of alerts and resistance in family; insufficient getting kindness; feeling of helpless and weakness in self management. Also Core category of the research is, ineffectiveness of family life and training, creating an acceptor sprit of drug use. Generally finding indicated that insufficient ways of living and interactions of participant during adolescence play an influencing role in providing their mind and actions towards addiction at the future.
