Abstract:
This article attempts to analyze the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran based on national identity indicators. Iranian national identity is a knowledgeable subject based on shared understanding of issues of cognitive and other drawers. Iranian national identity is based on their perception of the country and its image abroad. The hypothesis of this paper is that policy-making and how to conduct foreign policy in Iran has been influenced by notions of national identity.
