Impact of Political Culture-making of National Media in the Process of Political Development in the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract:
More than hundred TV and Radio channels, provincial and extra territorial services, publishing newspapers and many weekly, monthly, books and audiovisual product together with exceptional hardware and software facilities has turned the I. R. I. Broadcasting to a giant media. If the function of media at the current age is merely considered information and recreation, in addition of these functions, according to the statement of the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran who said that the I. R. I. Broadcasting is as a university and responsible to develop culture and inform the people; but unfortunately the I. R. I. Broadcasting does not to completely fulfill part of its tasks and liabilities and surrender to other, somehow based on competitors.
The aim of this paper is to define the current political culture-making of national media in the process of political development in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
