Comparison of satisfaction with life, social adjustment and optimism in the elderly living in the home and the elderly

Elderly is a period of human growth that is accompanied by various ups and downs, while the different lifestyles of elderly women and older men can lead to their mental health. The purpose of this study was to compare life satisfaction, social adjustment and optimism among the elderly living in the home and living in the elderly homes of Sari. The research design was causal-comparative and the population was all elderly in Sari. Sixty elderly patients (30 women and 30 men) and 60 elderly residents (30 women and 30 men) were selected randomly.
