Spatial Planning of the Hormozgan Provinces by Using of Multi Criteria Decision Making

Spatial Planning is a comprehensive and methodological totality from the composition of management capacities and comprehensive geographical indicators. This combined knowledge, deals with, organizing space, developed for the purpose, homogeneous and heterogeneous distribution of development in all areas and land areas and support sustainable development. Thus, identification and characterization of the spatial distribution of discrimination and injustice in the way that knowledge is possible. This study aims to examine how such a distributed development is conducted in the province. Among the indicators of development, infrastructure and health facilities opted to investigate the distribution and development of Hormozgan province-level city (14 elected city) is compared. The methodology of this study is descriptive-analytical and using of multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques like combined methods of TOPSIS, AHP and Cluster Analysis. The results showed that there is a level of deprivation in the province in terms of health status indicators, and spatial distribution, so that the city of Shiraz, as the political center of the province, is developed most, city of geography of organization, is a relatively large difference between the development index and other cities.
