A Comparative Study of intergenerational about Sense of social security in family in Yazd city
Social context of disturbances in intergenerational relations is largely the result of disturbances in the. In socialization process, values, beliefs and social norms are transmitted to new generations. Disturbances in socialization process create disturbances in intergenerational relations as well as disorder in production and maintenance of social security. In this survey, samples were randomly selected by the multi-stage cluster sampling method from 492 parents and children living in the Yazd city. Social security in 12 dimensions: physical, occupational, economic, religious, legal, judicial, moral, cultural, financial, honor, emotional were measured. Questionnaire was applied to collect data and then descriptive and inferential statistics were reported. Findings of the study indicate that the perception of judicial security and cultural security among parents is significantly lower than children while on the other hand, the sense of emotional and honor security is lower in children than parents. There is not a statistically significant difference between parents and children on other dimensions of social security sense.
