The presentation of Gray cluster analysis model in performance evaluation and ranking of sport boards

The aim and objective of this study was to present the Gray cluster analysis model in performance evaluation and ranking of sport boards. The area under investigation was Esfahan province and the statistics sample were sport boards which are team games by ball including football, volleyball, handball, basketball, Rugby, and baseball (and softball) boards. They were ranked by Gray clustering analysis based on four main and important elements of hardware development (3 indices), public sports development (5 indices), championship and professional sport development (6 indices), and human resources development (8 indices) (22 indices in total). The results of this research showed that handball board was the first board, football board was the second board and basketball board was the third board, rugby, volleyball, and baseball boards followed respectively.
