Investigating the Resilience of Vital Land Use in Tabriz Metropolis against Natural Disaster of Earthquake

All countries are increasingly in the process of urbanization, this means that urban districts have become the main place of possible disasters. Considering the location of Tabriz Metropolis in the area of high earthquake hazard and the occurrence of this natural disaster in different periods with return periods, resilience of the vital uses of the city is required, and lack of rational decision-making models in this area may create irreparable problems. The present descriptive-analytical research, In data analysis, the effective indicators influencing resilience of vital uses are detected, then the questionnaire were distributed among 30 experts, 12 indicators were included in the questionnaire. The results were analyzed by T-tests, Friedman, and Chi-square in SPSS software. In order to evaluate the resilience of vital uses, multi-criteria analytical method ANP was used, and by combining these comments with the scores of ANP model, the differences in vital uses of various districts of Tabriz Metropolis based on VIKOR model were estimated. The findings revealed that the vital uses in districts 4 and 9 are in desirable status and districts 6, 8, and 10 are not in a desirable condition. Also, among 12 effective indicators, applying construction regulations and standards, building strength, and land resistance are in relatively desirable conditions, and being smart and equipping vital resources with earthquake prediction tools, people's participation, and the possibility of emergency storage of fuel and water are not in a desirable status.
