Abstract:
This study is a practical research which has been performed through a descriptive and analytical method. The main data collection instrument required for this study was a researcher-developed questionnaire developed in a Likert Scale format (very low, low, medium, high, very high). The statistic society consisted of families residing at Zarghan city (Fars province). The sample volume was estimated to be 113 households based on Cochran formula; however, in order to increase the confidence level and also to decrease the measurement error, this value was increased to 120.It is noteworthy that for the validity of the mentioned questionnaire, the views of university professors and experts in the field of urban planning were used, that finally the final questionnaire was developed according to their views and confirmation; afterwards the questionnaire was randomly filled out by the statistic society. Moreover, descriptive and inferential statistical methods were applied in order to analyze the data.
