Analyzing and Criticizing the Radical Feminism Argument through Freedom of Reproduction on the Permission of Abortion

Given the growth of artificial reproductive technologies, new ethical challenges have raised in related to the abortion permission. The purpose of this study is to examine and criticize the reproductive freedom argument on the permission of abortion from the viewpoint of some radical feminists. In this study we firstly describe the history of feminist activities for the permission of the abortion in defense of women's reproductive rights. Then, we analyze and criticize the claims of the radical feminists about freedom of reproduction on the permission of abortion thorough discussing moral rights of the human fetus. Findings: Firestone, Simone de Beauvoir, Kristian L'Oreal and Susan Sherwin, to prove the abortion permission, have sought to establish women’s reproductive argument. Their main claim is that, since women bear suffer from pregnancy, childbirth and maternity, they have right to certain reproductive rights like as induced abortion, By critique of this claim, with respect to the inherent holiness of human life and moral statues of the fetus, the right of the fetus to use the mother's womb as the natural place to growth, and moral responsibility of individuals towards others, even in cases where they did not select those conditions, are recognized. Women have not entitled to seek just their rights and interests and neglect the responsibilities and consequences of their actions on fetuses.
