Principal's professional ethic and teachers organizational commitment; a case study in secondary level of Karaj’s third region of education

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was the considering of principals professional ethic and its relationship with teachers organizational commitment. The research method was descriptive-correlation type (correlation-covariance matrix). The population of this research were teachers of secondary level of Karaj’s third region of education. Using a simple random sampling method a sample of 274 people was selected. The research instruments were two questionnaires, professional ethic questionnaire which was made by the researchers and organizational commitment questionnaire (Allen and Meyer, 1991). To analysis of findings SEM method was used. The findings showed that there is a significant relationship organizational commitment and professional ethic (r=0/65, p=0/000) and egoism (r=0/65, p=0/000), benevolence (r=0/22, p=0/002) and deontology (r=0/28, p=0/002). But there are not any significant relationship between continuance commitment with egoism(r=0/23, p=0/057) and normative commitment with deontology (r=0/03, p=0/13).
