Investigating the Role of Social Capital in the Developments in Urban Areas(Case study: Dehdasht city)

Social capital is the result of the formation and deployment of values, norms, traditions, conventions and rules spontaneously and in the context of social interaction, the foundation of empathy, cooperation, altruism, loyalty, work conscience in social life on the part of individuals. This kind of capital is considered a suitable platform for human and physical capital productivity and a way to succeed.The purpose of this study was to investigate and The role of social capital in urban development in Dehdasht, Type of research is practical and it is an descriptive analytical methodology used and gathering information library and survey methods (questionnaire, observation and interviews) was used, The population of the study were all the residents of Dehdasht. A sample of 380 persons were randomly selected using Cochran formula. Reliability of the questionnaire was tested using Cronbach's alpha. In this study, analyzed using factor was used to analyze the data. Among the variable related to the quality of life, 28 indices extracted using factor analysis have been reduced to 6 factors, factors derived from factor analysis of variance total of 39/63 percent in the fall. Among the six factors were extracted, social trust factor alone 6/18% of the variance that covers most influential factor in this study. And a social disorders, with 6.3% of the variance has less impact on urban development, town Dehdasht have.
