Abstract:
In a highly competitive world today, organizations are looking for new ways to maximize the performance and effort of their employees. The largest and most important capital of any organization, human capital, is that it overshadowes other investments of the organization, and the achievement of the goals of the organizations largely depends on the proper functioning of the staff. Emotional intelligence Skills is highly crucial in career success and achivement critical responsibilities accompolishments. Psychologists believe that 20% and 80% of individuals’ success depends on IQ and emotional intelligence (EQ) respectively. present research aimed to Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Job Performance of Employees in the Hotel Industry in 5 star hotels of Fars province Including: Hotels zandiyeh and Persepolis International has been done in the summer of 2016. The data required for this research has gathered by questionnaire with Simple random sampling method through 5 stars hotels employees of Shiraz City. Also, It has been used structural equation modeling through the Smart pls software to analyze data. The research method is descriptive and correlational and Statistical population of this research has considered all employees of the 5 stars Hotels Shiraz City. The sample size, Style determining volume sample formula 169 people and Were determined With Simple random sampling method. Provided results showing that Emotional Intelligence (EI) and every one of its dimensions on Job Performance have a positive and significant impact. and also it was shown that variable Social Awareness has the largest is path coefficient and its impact on Job Performance is higher than other variables.
