Geopolitical Explanation of the Competitive Model of Iran-Qatar Relations

In the struggle between power relations between various political actors in the geopolitical space geopolitical relations are formed. geopolitical relations of the countries are fluctuating around 5 different patterns influenced by various conditions such as geopolitical weight, geographic location, proximity principle, strategic regions, etc. One of these patterns prevails. These geopolitical patterns are consistent with the realities of space, and, more than any other theory of international relations, can explain the interplay of relations between countries. Iran's relations with its neighbors are also subject to different spatial variables from different patterns, which are models of relations between Iran and Qatar as competitive models. The present research is descriptive and analytical and based on library resources, it is sought to answer the question of how the competitive model of geopolitical relations between Iran and Qatar is evaluated. What is the most important point of conflict between the two countries? The findings of this research indicate that the competitive model of Iran-Qatar relations includes three different areas of geo-economics, Geo-culture and geopolitics. In the field of Geoeconomics competitions ,the confrontation between the two countries in order to exploit the common resources of South Pars and Also, attempts to seize the future of the world's energy; in the geocultural area, media competitions - the so-called soft war between the two countries to influence regional developments; in the geopolitical field of the two countries' rivalries in different regions of Syria to North Africa, the Arab Spring and Etc the most important areas of Iran and Qatar. Considering the importance of energy resources in the economic life of these countries on the one hand and the future role of global energy market on the other hand, Geo-economics for both sides is of higher importance, so that even other competitive spheres The two countries also overshadowed.
