Studying Security Feeling in Parks in Zone 4 of Mashad

Security feeling is the result of a series of interactions and compromises among various segments in a way that nowadays are considered prerequisite of ontinuation of every political and social system. Whereas, security feeling in parks is one of the most important indices of environment quality, the present research has conducted contrastive survey on security feeling in parks in zone of Mashad. In terms of objective, the present research is of applied type, and been conducted through using descriptive-analytical method. While using library studies for gathering required information, people were selected randomly from among those who visit parks in zone of Mashad have filled in questionnaires. Then, while etermining weight and importance of security feeling indices through using AHP and through entering data resulted from questionnaire into SPSS environment, the primary matrix is formed for decision-making. Finally, the conditions of the under study parks, in terms of security feeling were surveyed and contrastively compared through using PROMETHEE method. The results indicated that Basij Park with with regard to security feeling indices is in the best conditions, and Behesht park with is in an undesirable condition, as far as security feeling indices are concerned. This is while, other parks: Eram, ,Nehzat,Sadeghyeh and Sarv are in average conditions in terms of security feeling
