The effects of personal and environmental factor on the factors shaping knowledge sharing, including desire, intention and behavior with education moderator effect

The subject of knowledge sharing is one of the important challenge in knowledge management. The organization to use of employee knowledge should encourage them to knowledge sharing. According to bandura theory, personal factor, environmental factor and behavior are in the reciprocal relations with each other. In previous research, a number of variables related to individual and environmental factors are mentioned and these variables are considered as predictors of knowledge sharing behavior. In this study, factors that were more important were identified and these factors were perceived as an environmental factors including subjective norms, trust and behavioral control, and in the individual factors including perceived enjoyment in helping others, perceived knowledge leakage, reward, reciprocal benefit and perceived reputation enhancement. Knowledge sharing process also includes attitude towards knowledge sharing, intention to share knowledge and knowledge sharing behavior. In this research, the effect of individual factors on the attitude and the impact of environmental factors as a moderating variable between knowledge attitude and knowledge sharing intention and educational variables as moderators between the intention to share knowledge and knowledge sharing behavior was investigated.
