Analyzing the content and the story form "To whom I greet" with a sociological approach

Each literary work reflects the social issues and picture of the writer's society age, which recognizing these issues is receivable by examining literary works based on sociology. Sociology of Literature suppose literary work as a social phenomenon because the structure of the world of literary work reflects social realities or their symbolic expression. The present study, analyzes and reviews the story of "To whom I greet? " Daneshvar, based on sociological theories, especially Goldman's ideas and has examined it in the field of form and content. The results of this research shows that Daneshvar is a realist writer who is familiar with community. By focusing on women, she shows and criticizes on their ignored status and rights. She also criticizes apparent religiosity, class discrimination, and poverty. Disappointment, superstition and anti-masculinity are other issues raised in this story that express the psychological aspects of the story. In the area of form, there are also important elements in the story that have been expressed the psychological aspects of the story. Choosing the title and proper start is Daneshvar's special storytelling techniques. Characters have also been created real and believable in this story, and personalizing has been shaped by the theme of the story. Probing of the interior narration of the narrator's story,, the exterior narrator i.e, show that the author has used narration to present the structure of the society. The author has also shown the skill in plotting the story, the authoritarian atmosphere of his age by using the feminine tone.
