Foundations and templates of holy defense poetry

The Holy Defense Literature is one of the main branches of the Islamic Revolution literature, which deserves serious study, especially by the young generation; because, it helps them to cover the vague and complex aspects of new national, religious, cultural and social ideas. The committed devotees and poets of this land used all their arts and talents to create the epic of the era and watched them. With their efforts, literature was created that is known as the holy defense literature that refers to Persian literature, dynamics, and heightened spirituality and influenced the change in the mentality and worldview of poets and literati. During this period, poets gave a variety of forms to express their feelings in the form of poetry in Ghazal, Qasī, Masnavi, and... The present article seeks to explain the foundations of this type of literature, to explain the molds used in the holy defense poetry, with examples of each of them, and to help the reader to understand the matter properly.
