Strategic planning of Ahwaz city with emphasis on sustainable development approach

The twentieth century has become a century of urbanization. If the development of urbanization in the present century is still unsustainably associated with change, it is due to its internal nature and the changes that have been made in various areas of the society with many variables. To guide the development process Cities must be sustainable in a systematic and systematic way, understanding and analyzing the interactions between these variables, since urban communities are trying to achieve sustainable development dimensions according to the current situation in order to achieve strategic planning. And appropriate placement to change the direction of planning to the goals of development The method of research in this article is descriptive-analytic approach and reference to reliable library and electronic resources and field research data was gathered. Sustainable development has been considered as an "independent variable" and the environmental, economic, and social indicators of the "dependent variable". A quantitative strategic planning method (a tool for systematic internal and external environment analysis) has been analyzed in the SWAT technique. The results of the research show that Ahwaz has been in a stalemate in order to achieve sustainable development in it by external factors and it can be stated that it should be implemented with proper development of sustainable development in Ahwaz city with the adoption of necessary rules. Proper planning and expansion of investment in employment and training, increasing the quality of life and biology will strengthen the external factors, and by promoting citizenship education and advertising to contribute to the improvement and modernization of unsustainable and inefficient tissues, it has strengthened internal factors.
