Investigating the Role of Sustainable Rural Housing on the Components of Rural Households' Security Feasibility Study: Western Kharghan Village, Avaj County

Consequently, the lack of security in the villages, causing anomalies such as their migration to the cities, the suburbs And passive people, the loss of creativity, of indifference and mistrust-based practices, undermine security. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of sustainable rural housing in rural households' sense of security, a case study: Western Kharghan village, Avaj city. This study is a descriptive and analytical one, based on the type of applied research, library and field data collection (observation and questionnaire) and the statistical population of the present study is households of West Khorqan village located in Avaj district. The district has 9 inhabited villages and 2699 inhabitants and 933 households at the 2016 census. From these 9 villages, 3 villages were selected based on judgmental sampling and classified by stage sampling method and lottery method was used. Sample size was determined using Cochran formula of 182 individuals as sample size. Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics (mean and frequency distribution) and inferential statistics in SPSS software environment. The results showed that sustainable housing had a positive and significant effect on the indicators of perceived household security, financial and physical security, and sustainable housing had no significant relationship with social and environmental security indices. . The results also showed that among the indices, sustainable housing had the most impact on the financial security index so that 70.4% of the variance of financial security was explained by the sustainable housing variable
