A critique of quality of work life researches in Iran using a meta-analysis research

To date, the quality of work life has been studied as a basis for employees’ well-being in a variety of categories. Accordingly, the present study combines results of quantitative researches in quality of work life with the aim of identifying and prioritizing the appropriate factors to the biomass context of Iran. This research, In terms of purpose is descriptive and in terms of its type is applied. The statistical population consisted of 79 papers and theses that were conducted in Iran. By using the judgment method, 40 researches were entered into meta- analysis process in CMA2 software. Identification reliability through the agreement of the referees in the selection and classification of researches, the coding reliability through the agreement of referees on the use of specific concepts for encoding variables, and significance of level and size of effect through an agreement in measuring the effect size between the two meta-analyzers were obtained. The results showed that, respectively social relationships in work, opportunity for growth, overall living space, control levels applied in work, work satisfaction, constitutionalism, stress at work, safe and healthy working conditions, work-life balance, Social integration is considered to be the most important quality of work life components.
