The certain discourse of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the international system and great powers such as the United States and a role assumed by Iran in order to fight against imperialism, especially the United States, would increase the importance of relations between Iran and European Union. European Union, other states and actors of international system have recognized the importance of relations between Iran and European Union and with regard to their aims, they have sought to influence on it.
