Sociological study of the relationship between social capital and cultural development

The Concept of Development is Targeted the may of improvement of the social system.This Concept has located in the field of socio-economic axis, But after the UNESCO Organization for the last decade of the 20th century called the World Decade of Cultural Development, The main axis has allocated to the field of culture and their develops.cultural development as a precondition to achieve the all side develops. So, according to importance of this development, The purpose of this research is to study the role of social capital in the cultural development of Ilam citizens. Survey resarch method  and and data gathering tool is questionnaires.and it’s theories of social capital in used  of ,Bourdieu ,Pattenam, Coleman  and Fukuyama, in direction of research hypotheses.The sample size is 385 has been determinate by multi-stage cluster sampling. Data has been analyzed by softwares SPSS and AMOS.The results show that social trust, social participation, social relations, social commitment and cultural development has a direct relationship and meaningful. The results of structural equation modeling show that social capital variables account for 47% of the variance of cultural development.
