Analysis and evaluation of land use in Khoy and providing a suitable model for recognizing regional capabilities

Given that the natural environment has limited ecological power for human use, therefore, Land Capacity Assessment provides a suitable platform for proper environmental and land use planning. Therefore, this study tries to identify the status of different users in the current situation and the amount of its allocation to various activities in the county of Khoy and to assess its appropriateness or disproportion. In this research, a descriptive-analytical method has been written based on land ability evaluating, the steps were taken in this way: 1-Recognition the current status of the land and its per capita amount, 2-ability evaluating of the regions and the identification of high ground potential in the GIS environment, by expert survey method and hierarchical analysis, 3-identification of ecological and legal constraints based on the creation of privacy legal standards, 4-extraction of the final information obtained in the form of a map and its quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the research indicate that in Khoy County, apart from residential applications, in other uses there is a shortage of space required. In addition, few levels of land in Khoy have high power for different uses. as such, 470.43 square kilometers and only 26 percent of the land has high capacity for various activities. There are also 90 villages of 279 villages located in the County, as well as 3 cities of Khoy, Iveoghli and Firooraq of this County are expansion to restrictions, which must be properly managed to prevent land degradation around them and change it.
