The review of bribery-related factors in Tehran police stations
Nowadays, the destructive roles and effects of bribery on society, economy and ethic are unquestionable. Regardless of discussion on statistics and social, humanistic and ethical roots of this guilty action besides canonical veneration of this wrongful behavior, the emergence of bribery in police organization having the responsibility for national security and individual and public welfare can blemish the security and stability of government and society. Hence, this research was done in order to investigate the reasons for bribery by some employees and providing opposing solutions using analytical-surveying method. Also a sample of 248 employees from the sixth chief police station of Tehran were chosen in random after designing the repertory grid questionnaires by experts through the categorized random sampling method. Then the questionnaires were completed by them. The results of premises evaluation indicate that the followings affect the bribery among some employees of police stations:Salary of employees, weakness in their religious beliefs, the work process in police station, bribery in other organizations, weak supervision and control of involving supervisional organizations and the rank and education of disqualified employees.
