Investigating the Level of Effectiveness of Staff Supervision in NAJA: A Case Study on the Police Command Center of Khorasan Razavi Province
This study is meant to determine the level of effectiveness of staff supervision in executive staff units and to identify the relevant indices and their prioritization. The research method employed is descriptive – survey. The statistical population comprises commanders, managers and chiefs of police stations in the province of Khorasan Razavi 154 subjects of whom were randomly selected. Tools for data collection include document and library methods as well as questionnaires. In order to describe and analyze findings, descriptive and inferential statistical methods including one-tail T test, chi square test and Friedman test were used. Results indicate that staff supervision affects staff's performance, recognizing units' strengths and weaknesses, the rise in the level of personnel's disciplinary and professional knowledge, offering better service to people and identifying meritorious staff and managers at the significant level 0.05. Furthermore, results of Friedman test show that staff supervision, with the average rank 3.99, and identifying efficient staff and managers, with the rank 2.68, had respectively the most and least effects on the staff's performance.
