External Factors Affecting the Ethnic Challenge of Pankordism in West and Northwestern Iran

Ethnic issues have posed a number of challenges for some countries, and the acute form of these challenges, ie Pan-Islamism, has sometimes brought governments into crisis. One of the areas facing the challenge of Islamism is Iran's west and northwest. Various factors have influenced the emergence of ethnic challenges and especially Pan-Kurdishism in this region.

This is an applied and survey research. The statistical population of the study consisted of 50 faculty members of Political Science, Social Sciences and Security Sciences Department of Amin University of Medical Sciences. SPSS was used for analysis.

The results showed that three categories of cross-border, regional and international factors have an impact on the development of Pan-Kurdishism in this region and international factors with the mean of 3.83 have the most effect.
