A Comparative Study of the Role of Cyberspace in Social Development from the Viewpoints of Students of Azad University and National University of Tehran

Abstract:
Considering the expansion and variety of cyberspace services and the advancement of technology and the increasing use of applicants, besides the importance of moving on the path of social development, the present study examines the role of cyberspace in social development from the viewpoints of students Islamic Azad and National universities of Tehran. The research method is survey and it was done by a researcher-made questionnaire Cronbach's alpha is 0.84 and the validity of the questionnaire has been confirmed by experts of communication and sociology. The results suggest that cyberspace plays a role in social development. The findings indicate that the use of cyberspace plays a role in the development of social communication, the amenities for a better life and prosperity, the possibility of achieving better living conditions and improvement in the social status of individuals, as well as the opportunities achieve deprived masses of their share of national resources and social participation.
