Presentation of Maturity Evaluation Model of Defense organizations E- Maintenance System

Today, information technology has had many benefits in accelerating and facilitating maintenance activities, creating a branch called E-maintenance. Implementation of a E-maintenance system for defense organizations that have problems with the military equipment maintenance, has a major impact on their success or failure on missions and can facilitate and improve the effectiveness of the maintenance. To go beyond traditional maintenance approaches, and to create an e-maintenane framework, one needs to evaluate the state of e-maintenane maturity, to identify its current position in e-maintenance maturity, and to plan for the full maturity of electronic net. Due to the lack of a maturity evaluation model for the e-maintenane system, the aim in this research is to present a maturity evaluation model of the e-maintenance system for defense organizations. By examining the literature of the subject, and related maturity models, and preparing a questionnaire for people's opinions, expert in the field of maintenane, the maturity model was presented in 6 dimensions and 67 indices, and maturity levels were based on CMMI. Finally, on the basis of a checklist extracted from the defined maturity indices and levels, the maturity of a defense organization's e-maintenance system was evaluated.
