Identifying Dimensions and Components of Self-Care Informing of Patients in Medical Information System of Iran by Fuzzy Delphi Approach

Considering the importance of self-care the present study identifies the dimensions and components of self-care informing of patients in the medical information system of Iran.

The method of this study is descriptive and qualitative according to propositions of the research, which was done in two phases of library and fuzzy Delphi methods by referring 10 researchers and medical experts and health in university. 

final research results are presented in a model and considering that in this analysis, Delphi method for dimension determination and the components of self-care informing of patients in the medical information system of the country have been used, all the components identified in Delphi have been confirmed and. In total 2 aspects of informing (4 components) and health care providers (10 components), and 92 indicators from 112 initial indicators have been identified

Considering the dimensions and components obtained from fuzzy Delphi method in this study, these dimensions and components can pave the way for health authorities to increase self-care informing of patients in the medical information system of the country.
