Factors Affecting Social Capital Based on the Concepts of the Holy Quran(Case Study: Experts of Quran and Hadith University, Qom)

Abstract:

The objective of this study is to identify and prioritize the factors affecting social capital based on the concepts of the Holy Quran from the viewpoints of Experts of Quran and Hadith University in Qom. The population and statistical sample of the current study consisted of some managers of Quran and Hadith University in Qom. The research has been conducted through data grounded method. In the theoretical foundations of the study, it has been dealt with social capital, the constituent elements of social capital and the category and subcategory of social capital, and the experts of Quran and Hadith University in Qom have been interviewed to reach the social capital categories and then the concepts have been determined after three stages of coding. The findings show that the most important factors affecting social capital among the factors identified in this study are: public trust in society, social trust, brotherhood, Infaq (charity), consultation with others, social reform, social communication, social solidarity, cooperation and collaboration.
