Study and Comparison of Three French Translations of Towhis Surah with Discourse Analysis Approach

One of the most important principles in translating is loyalty to the original text or equivalence. Therefore, in addition to influence on the grammar of the origin and destination, for the translator it is necessary to be aware of the cultural, social, historical, etc. of the context of the translated text. This is even more important in the translation of religious texts, including Holy Quran. In the present article three French translations of Tawhid Surah are compared relying the discourse analysis approach to determine which translation is closer to the text of the Quran.
