Since long, the southeastern lands of Iran have had a common culture with the original inhabitants of Iran plateau, especially with Khorasan and Kerman regions, but at different historical periods the vast geography of Iran and the various central powers, which had existed at some periods, have provided the potentials for political disintegration of Iran’s lands. This study aims at investigating the reasons behind the disintegration of some parts of the great Iran Empire, in spite of having the common cultural background at the mentioned historical period, and addressing the transformations of Iran eastern borders from the beginning until colonialism in those lands. This study has been conducted in the reviewing method and the relevant information has been compiled by studying the historical books and documents in this domain. The results of the investigations indicated that in each historical period the disintegration of some parts of Iran had different reasons; foreign raids, ignorance of central government, religious causes for division among people and people dissatisfaction are some of these reasons.
